How to Manually Boot into CWM/TWRP Recovery on LG G3!

For those of you who’ve installed custom recovery such as CWM or TWRP recovery on your LG G3 Android smartphone, you will definitely want to know how to manually boot into CWM or TWRP recovery just in case you end up in a bootloop while installing a custom ROM, installing a MOD, etc…etc…

*Warning – DO NOT USE THIS METHOD IF YOU DON’T HAVE CWM/TWRP RECOVERY INSTALLED, IT WILL ERASE EVERYTHING ON YOUR PHONE!  YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!

Step 1. Power off your LG G3.  Then hold down Volume Down and Power buttons together.

Step 2.When you see the LG logo, let go of both buttons for half a second then immediately hold both of them down again.

Step 3. If Step 1 and 2 is done right, you should see Factory reset menu and you can let go of all the buttons.  If you don’t see it, try Step 1 and 2 again.

Choose “Yes”.

Step 4. Choose Yes again.

Step 5. You should now be in CWM or TWRP recovery depending on which one you have installed.  Don’t worry, this will not erase your user data on your LG G3 so long as you have CWM or TWRP recovery installed.  That’s it!

    Is it normal that I have a TWRP loop??? I have the official TWRP App install and did the update to the latest for my LG G3 D852G…
