LG G3 Root on Android 5.0.1/5.0.2 Lollipop!

I have some great news for those of you trying to root your LG G3 on Android 5.0.1/5.0.2 Lollipop. ¬†There’s a new root method that now allows you to easily root on Lollipop using a hole in LG’s firmware fastboot mode. ¬† Thanks to XDA user Unjustified Dev and a Korean user, we now can root our phones easily on all Windows/Mac/Linux/Ubuntu/Chromebook!

This root method also may work on future Android versions as it doesn’t rely on the Android OS rather it uses LG firmware download mode to do it.

This actually works for KitKat and most other LG smartphones out there.

How come you say there’s a working method for systems other than Windows, but there’s only a working method for Windows? Or instructions for it at least. Please clarify.
