For this week’s ROM of the Week, check out the latest BlissPop ROM.
Based on latest Android 6.0.1, BlissPop Marshmallow ROM brings you the latest and greatest performance and features from Android Marshmallow. While I was rather impressed with Fulmics ROM, I did have some lag issues at times and decided to try a pure AOSP ROM. Well, this certainly is one of the best AOSP ROMs you can install for your LG G3 but it is currently only available on T-Mobile LG G3 D851. (It may work on other GSM models so if you are a flasholic, please try and let me know and I will update this.)
Performance is excellent out of the box and you will not see any lag whatsoever along with excellent battery life. DOZE feature from Android Marshmallow works well and I have been getting much better battery life with this ROM. Of course, the ROM is based on CM13 and you will find all features found on CM13.
But don’t get me wrong, this is a highly-modified version of CM13, offering you a ton of customization tweaks. The customization features include easy tweaks via its Bliss Settings menu which offer many ways to customize your animations, navigation buttons, lockscreen, recents, status bar, and much much more.
Camera also works well and you will get the latest AOSP camera giving you new filters, ability to store photos in SD card, and much more. But 4K video recording does not work, you will be stuck 1080P.
Overall, this is another excellent custom ROM to revamp your LG G3 into a Nexus-like device so if you have a T-Mobile G3, give this a go this week(end) and do let me know what you think!
